OUR PHOTOS AND MEMORIES ARE ALL WE HAVE LEFT OF OUR FURBABIES :(
IF THEY WERE IN OUR CARE AND DIED AT LEAST WE'D HAVE A GRAVE SITE, THEY EVEN TOOK THAT AWAY FROM US.
NEMO
_This is our buddy Nemo.
The first photo is Nemo 3 day after post op.
He appeared here about 2 am in September 2003.
We thought it was our cat Simba. I opened the door and fussed at "Simba" for being outside (we don't allow our cats to go outside). Anyway, one of the kids said "that's not Simba". I had to turn on our kitchen light and look at him and said "oh my gosh, you aren't my cat"...lol I put him back outside thinking he must belong to someone. Well he never went home so we took him in. Named him Nemo because he "found" us.
In 2008 Nemo got out side and we could not find him for about 3 days. I gave up hope, thought something horrible happened to him or someone discovered what an awesome and cool cat his is and took him in. I was in my dining room one day in August 08 and I heard a meow outside, so I thought it was my neighbors cat (cat will not stay out of my yard!!!) Anyway, I went to check and it was Nemmie. Nemo's eye was hanging out and his jaw was hanging down.
I was distraught! I immediately called my local Veterinarian and rushed him in for a $75 emergency call!
Well Dr. Smith looked him over he said he had extensive damage and would definatly lose his eye (this I already knew) and not sure how damaged his jaw was. To euthanize Nemo he said would cost $65 (on top of the emergency visit) or if I opted for surgery, it would cost $625 (not including that office visit). So I was looking at a $700 fee to help Nemmie. So that is what we did.
Nemo was ripped out of our loving home on January 14, 2010 for unjust and unfair reasons!
