PHOTOS OF THE CATS SEIZED JANUARY 14, 2010
SALIARY-Belonged to youngest child- Saliary was 18 months old when taken.
This is the cat that started it all. DCS caseworker Shannon Ambrose told Samantha this cat was emaciated. Samantha told her no she wasn't. Samantha explained to Shannon Ambrose that Sali was a long and lanky cat, she was 18 months old and still intact. She hadn't grown into her body yet. Shannon Ambrose then told Bruce LaHue, director of Animal Control about this cat. Bruce LaHue told Samantha the same thing that Sali was emaciated. Samantha told him the same thing that she was long and lanky, thin but not emaciated and healthy.
On the health assesment Sali weighed 5.7 pounds and scored a 4 on the Purina Body Score Scale, which is underweight.

NEMO-Belonged to oldest son-Nemo was 7 years old when taken
This is nemo, Nemo was our favorite stray cat we took in. We just loved him. He was like a real live stuffed animal. Nemo got out one day on us and we could not find him. Found him 3 days later with his eye hanging out and his jaw broken. We believe the vicious dogs next door attacked him, the vet said a dog most likely did the damage as he had teeth puncture wounds in the roof of his mouth. We paid $750 for Nemo to have surgery to remove his eye and wire his jaw. Nemo was never the same after that. He had diffuiculty eating, though we gave him canned food, he wanted to eat with the rest of his family.
The vet that did his surgery suggested after his eye came unglued to just leave it that way to let it continue to drain if we can handle the appearance. We wanted only the best for Nemmie so since the doc said that would be best with dealt with the way it looked.
On the health assesment Nemo weighed 8.8 pounds and on the Purina Body Scale scored a 4 which I disagree with.

This was my daughters cat. My daughter had Toulouse since she was 3 years old (she is now 17) and Toulouse was 12 weeks old. He was a gift to her from her aunt. Toulouse was an indoor/outdoor cat that began staying in the house once he got older. My daughter has never gotten over him being stolen from her and never a chance to tell a judge that Bruce LaHue lied in order to get him.
On the health assessment Toulouse weighed 8.4 pounds and scored a 6 on the Purina Body Scale.

......This is Chubby, what an awesome cat he was. This is the cat that is noted in Bruce LaHue's probable cause affidavit as being emaciated. Chubby just a few days before the seizure had started again with his conjunctivitis and because of this crap Samantha was put through she didn't have time to spend the time with Chubby she normally did attending to his eyes. She did treat them with Terrymycin however but he did not get his warm compress that day.

None of the cats had feces on them when they left the Lee home and were all clean. Though the photos here are not in chronological order, if you view them in order you will see how the exam table was never cleaned in between each cat. Regardless that these cats lived together, they sat them on a feces covered table to examine them. If you would like to see the proof I can tell you the order in which the cats were examed. However, the first cat was Nemo, the last cat was Sophers. There is no reason for that.
Samantha was given Doxycycline on 12/14/09 by her veterinarian to give to the shelter cats that were exhibiting an upper respiratory infection. She was also treating the eyes of a few with Terryamycin Opthalmic Ointment.
Chubby had chronic conjuntivitis and did not have a URI
Cats that were being treated for an URI were Sophina and Kovu
Cats that were being treated for conjunctivitis were Sophers, Pox, Cali and Chubby.
Regardless that Samantha had proof of just being at the vet 30 days prior and had medication on hand and showed it to Bruce LaHue, LaHue just seized all the cats, filled animal control up and killed what cats he could, when since he knew Samantha had a veterinarian that she used and had just been their the month before, then he should had had Samantha to take them to the vet but oh wait, if he did that, then Shannon Ambrose wouldn't of gotten her much desired open case on the Lee's to make it look like she can do her job!!! Yeah, kill the cats, make family's suffer, what a way to run a government!!
